The journal ‘Roczniki Państwowego Zakładu Higieny’ [Annals of the National Institute of Hygiene] (Rocz Panstw Zakl Hig) was established in 1950 by the National Institute of Hygiene (current name: National Institute of Public Health NIH – National Research Institute).
The journal is a peer-reviewed quarterly devoted to research studies on the food and water safety, nutrition, environmental hygiene, toxicology and health risk assessment, public health and other areas related to health sciences. It creates a common platform enabling exchange of views and ideas between scientists involved in this area.
